WANDERING SHADOWS FARM
Our Story
It all began in 2018 when we found a beautiful piece of land tucked away in the Panther Creek timber.
It was our dream property with a little 1979 ranch house in dire need of renovation. Five years later, we have a fully renovated home and established farm complete with a shop, coop and two barns that are home to chickens, alpacas, goats, cats and our dog, Ollie, who is thoroughly enjoying “farm” life.
The inspiration for our farm name, Wandering Shadows, came from the dancing of light and breeze through the trees creating an amazing movement of shadows across our property. We also believe that “wanderlust” can happen as you explore the beauty of the natural world around you and “wander” through new adventures in life – even if those adventures are close to home.
So you could say that we have found a new way of connecting with nature and experiencing the satisfaction that comes from caring for our animals.
Oh, and gardening – don’t forget the garden!
Not all those who wander are lost.
